Each member should take the opportunity to visit the business of your choice and ask for a donation for the district year-end awards. If each member would get a $50.00 donation that would be great. Donations can be turned in before the district finals.
New to our district this year. Some of the runs will be co-sanctioned with the United Barrel Racing Association. You can earn NBHA points and UBRA points with one entry.
This year we are doing our jackpot poles on a 3D format and will provide year-end awards for each division. So polish up your pole bending skills.
Remember, the champion in each division is going to win a saddle this year! Eight saddles for open and youth barrels!
Please take note of the changes in the barrel racing schedule. Due to other commitments and wet arenas and family tragedies, the schedule is now as follows:
Remaining 2011 Show Schedule:- August 28 — Devils Lake
- September 4 & 5 — Manvel
- September 16 — Devils Lake
Single Run at 5:00 exhibitions and Run at 6:00pm
Note this is a Friday Evening run at Peterson Arena - September 17 & 18 — State Championship Show
Burdick Arena Devils Lake -- Must run at 3 district runs to be eligible. - September 25 — District Finals/Devils Lake
Double header to start with exhibitions at 8:00am run at 9:00 with points counting for both runs toward district finals awards. Note the change in counting points and early start time. Banquet and awards to follow the barrel run.
